Habitat project Archive

Habitat is a collection of paintings inspired by the art created by families during the lockdown. This project aimed to foster connection and create lasting memories during a time when families and housholds were confined to their homes.

The initiative began with free online art tutorials designed for adults and children to collaborate creatively, reinforcing family bonds and encouraging shared artistic expression.

Children were invited to submit their artworks as references, which formed the basis for a series of figurative paintings exploring childhood and family relationships.Habitat highlights the role of creativity in nurturing relationships and demonstrates how art can facilitate understanding within our homes. This collection serves as a tribute to family life and the joy that can arise from creating together during challenging times.
